When I started C25k I always said my goal was to do a parkrun. I signed up a while ago but kept putting it off. This morning I bit the bullet and thought I’d I don’t do it now then I never will, so odd I went to my local parkrun. After finishing W5 on Thursday all I wanted to do today was to keep the pace and run 20mins and then walk the rest if need be. I stayed with a runner that was similar pace to me and stayed at the back of the group so that I wasn’t tempted to run out of my comfort zone or get carried away with the group.
I managed to complete it and did better than I thought I would have, it’s all thanks to C25K! I’m planning W6 R1 for Tuesday so that I get plenty of rest.
