Week 7 tomorrow?

Evening all!

Tomorrow I plan to kick off week 7. Because of my slightly dodgy right knee I've given it an extra day between runs, so hopefully I'll be good to go, as I'm desperate to get back out there.

As before I shall be extra slow and steady, and at the first hint of pain, I shall turn round and crawl back.

Wish me luck!

Good luck! Wishing you all the best - I'm planning to start Wk7 on Sunday. Will regard it as a good omen if you manage it tomorrow!

Thank you Fitter40s, no pressure then lol! I really hope I can run tomorrow, it's such a great feeling, isn't it?

It surely is! No pressure and no need for luck - I'm sure you'll smash it - just go steady 😊

Good luck tomorrow 🍀

Good luck, Neil! Hope the knee holds up okay. 💪 (Couldn't find knee emoji). Concentrate on a good upright posture, gentle footfall and your core strength. Everything in our bodies connects up, and surprising things can cause knee pain - including tight calf muscles, so stretch them calves well after runs! x

Oh, and if you have to take another day and run Sunday, then you run Sunday and that is that. No hurry. Better wait than exacerbate. That's my new catch phrase. I just made that up.

I like that one! I'll see how I feel when I've woken up. I'm typing in my sleep at the moment...

Thanks boss! :P I misread that and thought you said "gentle football". I'm definitely not playing football!!

Actually getting dressed is probably a good plan too! Don't want to scare the dog walkers...

Good luck, hope it goes okay
