After completing runs 2 and 3 last week on a treadmill as I was on holiday (and having no real problem running for 10 and even 20 minutes!) today I went back to my normal route along the towpath and struggled to finish each 5 minute block. Last week I felt I’d really hit my stride, but today it all felt off 😕 Oh well, onwards and upwards.

Change of place, change of pace. There can be so many reasons. It wasn't good today and you still got it done. It may not be as satisfying but you should feel proud.

Just the change back to the outdoor routes maybe
Some you win, some you don't win as much..but every run is a good run.. well done you !

Outdoor v treadmill is very different (not trying to state the obvious ) but it is. I managed to run on a treadmill on and off for a few years before daring to go outside and it never compared. Don't be down, rub it out, put it down to a bad day which we all have, and onwards you go. Easier said than done sometimes but it will all work out

Yes I suspect the change back to the great outdoors has impacted but onwards and upwards
