Enjoyed the run today, good time and got the 5k within the 28 min !! Think will space it out a bit, more than one day in between these longer runs works for me👍 Looking forward now to reach the goal for 30 min. Starting to reflect to those early runs and getting better as the weeks went on. Thanks all for the support 👍👍xx

Since I started Week 7, I have been taking 2 rest days between runs and I feel much better for it.

Hi Mikemelly ....when I got to the longer runs, I found an extra rest day certainly helped, I just found it hard to resist the fluttering eyelash treatment my trainers gave me!!! That’s a fantastic time too...don’t over do it though, take it nice & steady then you’ll be ready for week 9 😉
Good idea, the extra day helps at this stage, keeps the legs fresh....

You do what you need to do.. don't push... just get to the 30 minute runs comfortably!
