Did my first consolidation run this morning, ran a bit faster than the previous 3 30min runs but I found the last 10 mins quite tough so slowed down a bit.

Hope you're all well πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ‘πŸ€

Glad you enjoyed your run today, onwards and upwards to consolidation run number two on Sunday.

Hi Al thank you, I did just under 5k in the 30 mins. My first target is to continue running for 30 minutes every two days, then to do 5k in the 30 minutes. Hope you're wellπŸ‘πŸ€πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

I am very well thanks, I am sure once you have completed around six 30 minute consolidation runs you will be able to run a 5K in around 30 minutes.

This morning I went a short 6 km walk after yesterday's 10K run, tomorrow morning is Virtual 5K parkrun day, it will be my 14th, this time I can send my 5K time to the new not parkrun website, that will be a first although I did send my 5K split time of yesterday's 10 K, not a thing that I'll do again, only the Saturday morning runs for that.

Thanks Al as always for your sound advice. I'll stick to 30 mins every two days for a while. Though I might check out the virtual park run.

Hope your park run goes well tomorrow πŸƒπŸ€πŸ‘

This morning I ran my 14th Virtual Parkrun and the first (not ) parkrun run, the result showed a time of 33.30, pace being 6.42km and a age grading of 55.62%, I enjoyed this morning's run although last Saturday my time was a little quicker at 32.15

Hey, Cockneymick! What's it like out there in the big wide world, beyond the graduation fence? I'm getting there....

Not as scary as I thought it would be! It almost become a routine that I run every 2 days which is great. Hope you're well, when do you graduate? πŸ‘πŸ€πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Yes, I'm good thanks. I hope to complete the final run tomorrow morning.... I'm interested in @AlMorr's Park Run info. That sounds like a good thing to work towards next.

Yay! Consolidation run 3 for me tomorrow. All pre run anxiety has disappeared, just a feeling of excited anticipation. I'm nowhere near 5k yet but I don't care! Onwards πŸƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’₯

Good for you! Yes I didn't have that pre run anxiety either ('will I finish this one?'). πŸ‘πŸ€πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
