Week 3 in the bag..... but.....

.....I'll be repeating it (or some of it, at least).

Don't know what happened today.

It could be that I tried dynamic stretching for the first time before this run - I was bloody exhausted before I got out the door..!! 😰

It could be that this was my first morning run - I'm not designed for even talking in the morning, let alone pulling on my big girl pants and running..!! 😏

I feel shattered and am really aching (a LOT more than normal), and I didn't have that post run 'buzz' today - more like a post run 'meh' πŸ™„

So, week 3, here I come again.

I'd much rather be able to cope with a bit of gentle plodding and gain the ability to 'enjoy' it instead of pushing myself and turn it into a horrible chore.

Well done to everyone who mastered week 3 this week..!! πŸ€—

I did wonder if that's the case. I had the real stinker a few weeks ago (as has everyone in the country I think) and it took a long time to leave. Someone at work is germ ridden at the moment, and he does like to share..!! 🀧 Hoping it is just a bad day.

I do hope you are feeling better..?? 😊

Well done on completing week 3. Question for you, did you finish the run properly? Did you run all the intervals? If so, please don't be so hard on yourself. If you have completed all 3 sessions in week 3 then move on. Not every session is an enjoyable one but it doesn't mean that it wasn't a success :)

Thank you MrsT82 😊

Yes, I run when I'm told to and walk when I'm told to and finished everything I should have (the OCD in me can't rebel against the programme) πŸ™ˆ

I'm not a particularly active person, never have been, and I've always avoided the dreaded 'running' 😱 I think my body is actually asking my brain what the hell was it thinking when it decided this was a good idea πŸ˜‚

That’s amazing work!! You’re doing really well. I’ll keep with my original post of saying to move on. But it’s your journey so you can do whatever you please. But you can do it if you do move on x

Thank you, that's nice to hear 😊

I think I'll assess the aches and pains tomorrow and go from there. I'll keep you posted πŸ€—

You should never push... who told you to ?

Keep it, all the way through... slow and steady.... it is the way to enjoy the journey!

Snail power.. never underestimate a snail! :)

Oldfloss, I've not been told to push - I just feel I would be pushing if I chose to carry on to week 4. So I'm not 😊

I LOVE snails, in fact I wave to them as they overtake me when I run πŸ˜‚

Yes, everything completed as it should have been 😊

As much as I like pleasant surprises, I think I might just look forward to them in another week. We'll see..... 😁
