Did rough runner yesterday (a fun run obstacle course) and busted my ankle 1km in! Manage to push though and do the run but paying for it today! Looks like I'm out of action for a while :(! When I start running again I'm not sure which week to start back at? Would I need to start over :(?!

I would wait to see how long that takes to get back to normal before deciding where to start again...Take it easy :)

You won't run til you are better and then you will know how long you have been out of action and then you can have a gentle run to ascertain your level of fitness.

Until then, enjoy temporary residence on the couch.

Thanks guys, just a bit put out, felt I was starting to do really well! Managed to finish the whole 10km without walking, wasn't too bad as I was running. Over night it's gotten worse, the sleep did it ! lol. I hope it a week or so it's better and I can carry on. Just don't wanna lose my progress so far :(!!!

Ouch, ouch... and this is why we never run through pain or with an injury! Poor you!

That needs real rest and TLC ....make sure you are pain free before heading out.. and when you do.. try a simple walk or jogette to see how you go :)

I know but just didn't wanna not finish, when I ran pain was okay, walking was worse strangely!! But yes deffo resting up! Got a spa book this afternoon :D so shall be doing all the resting and eating lol
