Corfu after the storms

Been very stormy in Corfu - no run for 4 days Decided to attempt run early this morning before sun strong . Did 5 min warm up then started running boardwalk with care . ( advised difficult place to run as hills incredibly steep down to village , boardwalks alittle unstable , beach hard running - not ready for that ) --- so 2 spots where boardwalk ran out and had to re join it so 30-45 seconds walks as rocky underfoot - so already having to count as practice run - completed 23 mins and my hubby stumbled on piece of raised boardwalk landing safely but shook him and I up - decided to walk the next 7 mins as cool down and go keep legs going . So definitely practice run but at least we got out and did what we could in difficult situation. My head was going crazy thinking I'm missing runs . We are very slow but at least doing it !!

Home tomorrow evening - loved running abroad but lots and lots of challenges .

Tourist running always gives you something new to try, and at least this kept your legs in...

That definitely counts as a cracking practice run, and the view still utterly gorgeous

Had the most glorious sunny day on the beautiful beach and really pleased with our run despite not quite finishing . Onward once home on flat familiar ground with c25k . Was a treadmill runner prior to holiday but loved loved loved running outside so will mix it up once home depending on work etc ( oh no ..... that W word 😢😢😢)
