Well, that sounds like a challenge that you just have to take on!! Take the first runs slow and steady and you'll soon be proving that person wrong. Good luck on your C25K journey 👍🏼😊
... and you are going to prove them wrong!!!! Yeay!!
Welcome... follow the programme, slow and steady and take those rest days... a bit of Strength and Flex and other non impact exercise on rest days will help your stamina and strength too!
Keep posting too for great support and advice!!
Welcome!
A bit of pig headed determination will serve you well. One thing to bear in mind is that this plan is designed to get you running for thirty minutes in about nine weeks.........it does not guarantee that you will run 5k in 30mins at graduation............some do, many don't but they still go on to be confirmed runners and feel that something has changed for the better in their lives.
Take it steady, it is not a race. Always take your rest days. Repeat any run you do not complete. Read around the forum and discover many people just like you who become runners, despite their initial doubts.
Enjoy your life changing experience and good luck.
Oh yes you can !!!! Seriously I'm now on wk 7 I was genuinely unfit and overweight yes on diet but have lost 1 1/2 stone since starting and I feel amazing !!! Keep it slow and you will soon show them that you can do it !!! Good luck there amazing people on here for advice!! Keep us posted on your journey xx
Yay another newbie!!!! Well done.... we can soooooo do this!!! When is your next day?? I think I'm going to do Tuesday 😄
YES YOU CAN!!! I was a size 28 and hadn't moved in years! I'm now fitter, happier and much slimmer. Trust the program, it really works, don't be afraid to repeat runs if you need to, but keep going. Ignore the doubters, put one foot in front of the other!!! You will show them!!
You show em!! You CAN do this, irbid a great programme and this forum is the best!!!
Prove them wrong. I love the V sign on your goal board... all the best for your success in the programme. Happy running
