Did W1 D1 this morning,I have lost just over 2 st in last few months and want to improve my fitness . Have been walking 3 times a week and have wanted to try running for many years .Feeling determined ,fingers crossed I can keep it going.😊

Thanks slinkyminky want to achieve before holidays in 12 weeks so I can do 5k while I'm there , fingers crossed got a long way to go but 1 run at a time . X

Well done you won't regret it, you have made the biggest step today by getting started 😊 well done with the weight loss, I to have been loosing weight and today managed W5 D3 and feel fantastic , keep up the good work xx

Yes Kate started last September and lost 3 1/2 st but got really stuck but this running and the support of this group has been a great motivator, and honistly you will be at wk 5 before you know it and loving it, never in a million years did I think I could do.it so if I can anyone can it's a brill plan one run at a time good luck and keep running or a slow jog lol xx angela

Well done both on the weight loss and starting the programme, i have completed the programme before and struggled so this time i took a different approach, like you i lost a bit of weight and started walking i built it up to 5/6 days week and 4/5 miles distance the programme has been so much easier this time so good luck and enjoy :)

Well done for taking the first step! It's one of the best decisions you'll ever make so stick at it and you'll continue to surprise yourself. Go slow, take your rest days and you'll be a runner before you know it.
