Ok, so I thought I could skip straight to week 3 of the couch to 5k and then realised I couldn't run for 90 seconds let alone 3 minutes. However I stuck with it and completed 2.5k in 30 minutes so well happy with that. Onwards and upwards
Determined : Ok, so I thought I could skip... - Couch to 5K

WTG Maudie, great achievement and good motivation going forward.
Hope week 4 is good to you πππ
In my humble opinion , not a good idea to go straight to week 3 even if you feel you can do it...the programme is designed to build the strength in our legs up gradually...there have been a few posts recently from people wanting to skip weeks....slow and steady. This has been my mantra...and it worked for me π
As Polly says Maudiejoy, this program works when you follow the rules. Every run builds your stamina and strengthens your legs...the rest days must be taken so your muscles can repair and strengthen. There is no prize for skipping runs, you are more likely to be successful and enjoy an injury free journey by doing all the runs.π
Good luck...
