Hi spinner, no don't go back a week, stick to Week7. Its great that you enjoyed the running you did today, even if you didn't quite manage a wk 7 run.

You will be able to do this but should maybe change things up a bit. A new route (or starting from further away ) can help so you are not passing the spor where you have finished in the past. As its so hot and humid could you run at a different time of day. Get a new playlist and putting it on shuffle might help too.

Stay confident and go again after your rest day. Good luck.😊

Us Jans are always right, well JNR is in this case, I am just agreeing with her. Have a go but take it slow you have nothing to lose. Good luck next time out.

... and I agree as well!

You've done so well to get to W7, you can definitely do this.

Follow JNR's advice, start really, really slowly, it doesn't matter how far you run just keep moving.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Go for it!

Most of us struggle at some, (if not all) point/s. Remember this programme is geared to get you fitter and running for 30 minutes. Otherwise there are no hard and fast rules to how you do it and how long it takes. To paraphrase my guardian angel Oldfloss take it slow (very slow even) and steady and you will get there. I believe the only reason I'm still on the programme is because I have learned to make the snails and tortoises my friends. Good luck, you can do it! :)

Thanks for that... we have to try and find that comfy pace... the slowness that is right for you... as we are so different. :)

Listen to Bluebirdrunner ... shake it up a little.... hot and humid can be really draining..Enjoying whatever you run is good.. hold that thought and when you head out again..then just know you will do it... I agree with the thought that if you could go early or when it is cooler later, it may help!

The challenge that needs to be overcome is W7R1, not the previous week, so what is the point in going back a week.

Change route, mindset and maybe time of day. Anything to forget that you cannot achieve the target. Have several rest days.

You don't say what is stopping you? Are you in pain? Exhausted? Or what?

It is easy after so many attempts to get a block, so if it does happen again, try going out for a very gentle run, without the app or podcasts and just relish the progress you have made to date. This is probably far more psychological than physical, I suspect.
