And that is about the most positive thing I can say about it. Somehow my brain and legs were just not connecting this morning. As I keep telling myself there are no prizes for grace or speed just for finishing.
I had two great runs last week so maybe my next two will feel better as well. It will help when the kids go back on the 7th as while I have kept up my running my routine is all out and still in the post Xmas haze.

not every run can give you a chariots of fire moment...and my legs don't always talk to my brain....but you've run for 25 minutes....you finished....you stepped out of the front door and didn't give in. i'm with the buttercupkid....let's party!
I can think of a positive. You got a tough run, it happens, but you were tougher and you completed it because you are mentally strong and physically fitter than when you started this. The old you would have quit that run... the new you took it on and beat it. The tough run added more strength and fitness for the next run. Maybe that’s more than one positive? I don’t see a negative... we all get tough runs, from us newbies right up to the Olympians... so don’t worry about it. The next run is usually a lot smoother and the tough sucky runs just make us appreciate the smooth easy ones so much more. Happy running.
