Struggled with this one today. I just didn't feel it all the way round and was just waiting for it to end. I usually get into my stride and my mind wanders but today was hard. It was really hot though and I don't sweat so was getting really hot as well. Hopefully Wednesday's run will be better.

What time did you run... it is hot out there..! Slow and steady as ever.. and make sure you are well hydrated ( every day not just run days.)

I started W7 on holiday in the Canaries two weeks ago. I tried hard but didn't make it past 22 minutes. So I congratulated myself on my achievement, enjoyed the rest of the week, and swam and relaxed. Started again on Saturday along the cliff top and did it. R2 today - harder but flat in the park and just kept going. As they say in the commentary, it is pushing us past the 'mental' barrier and training our slouchycouchy naturalised bodies into stamina and endurance. Just the words hurt! If it was easy we would have done this years ago!

I did R1 and R2 on holiday btw - both times 22 mins before I flagged.

I've found it really easy up till now and did a week of this on hols at 34c but today was my feeling it. I ran all the way but didn't get the high after I'd finished I usually do. I ran at 10.45am and drink 3l of water a day so well hydrated. Will just mark it down to one of those things and wait for Thursdays run.

Sounds like you're taking it the right way.

The bad news is that there will continue to be days like that, also after graduation. I've been running now for 3+ years and I still get them occasionally. They suck.

The good news is that you will get many more good days than bad days, so it's definitely worth it in the long run (pun deliberate).

Week 7 seems to be catching everyone out! I somehow managed to get through my last run of that week on Sunday! About to start week 8!

I wish I could say it got easier! It is such a mental struggle during these last 9 runs!

Well done for completing the run and keep up the good work! :)

xx
