After a week of good intent that came to nothing thought I had better get out and go for a run did the warm up and started off not many people out just me and the birds. Sort of changed my route today and found the footpath I was looking for when I did my first 10k and that's when I found out it was a big mistake hence the title of the post. Anyway carried on and came across two Roe Deer who stood staring as I tramped across the wheat field started the run for home completed 5k and walked the rest finishing with a distance of 6.41k.

Well done, it always makes me laugh when, I love getting out running in the summer, shirts and vest etc., away from the bad weather.........but then you encounter all sorts of aggressive foliage out to sting and scratch you.......a bit of high stepping here and there 😂, I nearly got smacked in the face by a wayward bramble at parkrun last week......right menace it was, trying to get to the other side of the path....triffid! 😂

Fortunately I was wearing a pair of Ron Hills but it still went through and yes a bit of high stepping was in order along with some winging but that's have the fun.

Stingers I think are attracted to the smell and pounding of runners' trainers. How else would they always be consistently where we don't want them... nice distance too. Well done you
