I managed to do W5R2, rather humiliatingly my Fitbit doesn't register it as running as I go SO slowly... but I can speed things up if I make it through the programme. I'm amazed how brilliant the programme is, all over again as I'm considerably older - and more overweight - than last time and it is still magic, really. If you trust the programme, it works
I have a question for you all though: what do you do about feet getting drenched when running across dew-laden grass etc? My current trainers are Salomon XA Pro 3D (Goretex), these are a great shape for my feet and suit me as a 'neutral' runner, but they get sopping wet. Is there a better trainer or do I just have to embrace the sogginess?? I think Salomon have stopped making XA Pro now, I've been buying them across many years so I'm a bit gutted about that - but maybe my next pair of trainers will keep my feet dry...!
Thanks peeps

🍏 Never tried it myself but I have a crazy friend who puts supermarket bags over her lovely running socks & then into trainers if she’s running in anything where she could get wet feet 🤣 She always stays dry… I don’t much care and just dry everything once I am back.
😆 hilarious! It’s the wet trainers really (they get stinky and take ages to dry!) rather than the wet feet which dry easily even if they do pong a bit 🤪
