You've got this Lizzy. I was the same way. I never liked running in school, but I really enjoy it now. Just take it slow and give yourself time to adjust and recover between runs and it should work well. The program is surprisingly well designed. Best of luck to you!

Hey Lizzy, welcome to the best running club in the world. Not sure many of us started any different to you. Choose your running coach - personally I went for Mr Smooth Michael Johnson. Kick the couch as you plan to, put your trainers on and just see where it takes you. I really hope you get to enjoy it. Good luck for a run on what looks to be a great day to start

Excellent attituted. You will have good and bad days but your determination will get you through. Also the fact that you are getting fitter with each run, is a fantastic motivator.

Most of us never liked running but are now hopeless addicts.

Be prepared for your life to change.

Welcome and keep us posted.

Well done starting. Stick to the plan and you will get there. I'm on my last run of week 8 today. 8 weeks ago I couldn't run the length of myself. Trust in the plan and remember the forum is always here for support. 👍
