So after putting it off for a day or so, I went out for R1of W4 this morning and I'm pleased to say it went well, the 1st 5min run was great , I could have carried on but following the program I'm stopped and walked, but the 2nd 5min run was more of a struggle but the fact I could see my house helped me keep going!!

Need to change my routes tho, but struggle where to put my keys!!

Still #embracethebeetroot tho! πŸ€—πŸ€—

Thank you I'll have a look.

Love the beetroot colour - it's a good healthy glow. Salsa red is currently mine, I am one run ahead of you and the keys thing I finally got sussed when I stopped buying yoga pants (don't ask it was just a phase and I'm not bendy) and got proper running shorts with the zip pocket at the back. Felt like a pro!

Funny, my first few runs I had a old pair of fitness crops with pockets and never really thought about it, but then bought running leggings, but yesterday saw some shorts with a back pocket in, but I'm afraid my leg colour doesn't match my face colour πŸ₯›πŸ₯›

Isn't it surprising how the right kit helps? I always though any kit would work until i tried running in fashion trainers... That was one outing only! my legs too are a different colour to the face... Good luck for Run 2

Thank you & good luck to you for the rest of the program.

Ahhhh!!! You did it! This one is scaring me. If I can wake up at ridiculous thirty tomorrow, this is the run I'm on too. Great job! I have a similar belt to the one Oldfloss posted.

My plan was to go yesterday with my 10yo on his bike, but I woke at 6.30 but he was still storing next to me & my husband was away so went this morning after the school run, I'm wish I had gone yesterday as it would have been cooler but I do enjoy running in the β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ!

It's wasn't that bad, the program leads you up to it so you'll do great I'm sure!

Well, I'm going to let you know how it goes either way! I think I need to find flatter ground, but don't see myself going through the trouble. I will probably just tough it out in my neighborhood. Thank you for the inspiration!

Stretch out & just keep moving!

Good luck with the rest of the program πŸ€πŸ€
