It was a tough one today. Took me a long time to settle into a rhythm. I actually think it took me the whole 28 mins to warm up my legs as they felt like they could run for longer towards the end.
My breathing wasn't as relaxed either. I have felt like I'm getting a cold so I'll put it down to that.
Anyway on to Week 9.
I'm hoping to complete my graduation run next Saturday at my local Parkrun then the following Wednesday I'm off to Tuscany where I will celebrate what I have achieved with a run in the Tuscan countryside followed by some Tuscan wine ๐

Well done Jo, nearly there despite a tough start. This time next week you'll be getting set for the final graduation park run! I'm doing my first park run tomorrow which happens to be my graduation as well so feeling terribly excited ๐
Enjoy your Parkrun tomorrow Cliff, I'll look forward to congratulating you afterwards. I'll be running a Parkrun tomorrow morning too, my second post grad Parkrun.๐
Well done Cliff, good luck on your parkrun; I'm starting week 8 tomorrow, and although I ran through the 5 min cooling down period for the two last runs of week 7 I' sticking to the programme and by the end of week 9 I will have ran 8 thirty mins sessions which should, hopefully prepare me for my 1st parkrun.
Well done. I have just done my week 9 run 1 in Tuscany overlooking San Gimiano. Stunning view but hard work running up and down hills. Enjoy your week and Italy. Sam
Well done Jo, enjoy your last 3 runs of week 9. It will be perfect timing getting to the end of week 9 and graduating before your Holiday. Best of luck.
Thank you. I can't wait to graduate but at the same time I feel sad that the programme is coming to an end! I can't believe in starting week 9 next week โบ๏ธ
Certainly will. I have 2 runs to space out so I time the third with the park run. Means 2 rest days between each run which being impatient doesn't sit too well but hopefully I will be rested well before each run โบ๏ธ
Enjoy your holiday, and hope you do get a run in when there. It is something I would never have considered. After all you are on holiday, however, on our last holiday we did a race, and enjoyed it so much, we have planned a race on our next holiday. Something pre c25k I never thought I would ever say.
Well done once again Jo and welcome to the real start of your running life.
I was debating whether to run on holiday but after a few wise words from a few wise people on this forum I couldn't think of one reason not to and now I can't wait.
I will definitely keep posting as you say...it's only the start of my running journey ๐
Well done Jo. I've just completed week 8 run 3 yesterday so know what you mean. All the best for week 9 and Park Run. You've got this far, keep going....
