Finally Week 8....

After completing week 7 run 3 last week, have been putting the runs for week 8 off, due to the horrible weather.

Woke up to a sunny day and decided that today's the day, so after I finished my work, the first thing I did when I got home was change into my running gear and set off.

It was hard but manageable and I wouldn't say I loved every minute of it, but compared to my last run it was much better. The only downside was that half way through I had a pain in my hip and my first stitch, but I managed to conquer through it all.

My route took me up a slight incline as well as a small steep hill which I did not let beat me.

When I finished I wasn't sure if my legs belonged to me they felt like they'd been made from lead and were very heavy to move, but after walking then stretching they are back to normal.

Have to say that I'm am extremely pleased with my progress and couldn't stop smilling the whole way home.YAY!

Great news!

I too completed my first run of week 8 today. I found it ok but like you didn't love it. The achievement at the end is worth it all though.

Keep smiling - Only 5 more runs to go (fingers crossed!!)

Yey well done, I did that run today too. Had a late lunch as out looking at universities with my daughter. Couldn't run til 3.5 hours later and still felt full even though I hadn't had a huge meal. Felt a bit sick and not comfortable for the first 10 minutes, then felt better. Last 3 minutes were slow but I recovered quickly and hope the next one will be a bit more comfortable. Can you believe we only have to add another 2 minutes to be at the end of the programme. So glad I've done this, so so many benefits and can't wait to graduate.
