Now it's cooled down just carry on with the programme so go onto week 2. Feel the lovely cool breeze as you run and breathe deeply. Slow and steady will get you there 😀

im 15 1/2 stone and am too struggling to breath but managed a 35 min this morning as it doesnt seem as humid today x take it easy dont lose hope you will be fine x x

I also struggle with the heat. I just took 5 days off running because it was ridiculously hot here in London. Temperature has dropped now so I am back running. But don't be fooled by all the people on here who are still running. You don't have to run in 30 degrees to finish the programme in the UK. Just make sure you pick it up now it's a bit cooler, run early or late, find a route in the shade and slow down if it's still a bit warm.

There has been a noticeable reduction in the number of posts this last week so we are not alone.

I have never liked the heat either (I swim in cold water) and was your weight (now bit less:)).

This weather was extreme, one day was the hottest in June for 41 years! You said you enjoyed it, so now it is a bit cooler, get going again. Do early morning or late evening, check the weather forecast and pick a good time, take water to pour over self (my favourite thing). You can do it and will feel good when you do.

Early morning or late evening are good times in the heat... make sure you are well hydrated, every day, not just run days.... and most of all SLOW it right down. Relax and breathe gently and enjoy the running journey:)
