After resting my hip for a week I thought I would go out for a long walk yesterday to test the waters and all seemed ok.😊
I went out at 8 this morning for this run and decided just to go at a slow steady pace. The 1st run felt like hard work but by the end I felt a lot better and no hip pain so now planning my second run for Friday. 😀

That's really good news on the hip and great that you've got the first one under your belt. Just keep it slow and steady for the second one (the first bit will always be the worst). Onward and upward. You're doing great😊
