Well I've just started doing c25k I did my first run/walk today.
My main aim is to start getting fitter and lose some weight. I currently weigh 13st 2lb. I need to get to at least 11st. I'm hoping c25k will help me. I have 3months to make a real difference. Any positive motivation would be great. Thanks x

Slow and steady is the way... don't push too hard and make sure you take your rest days. Although the programme is not specifically for weight loss, it may help... especially combined with a healthy eating regime
Have you taken a peek at the Weight Loss Forum... quite a few of the runners on here, are on there also and find it works really well
How do I find the weight loss forum. Something I would definitely be interested. I have such strong reasons to lose this weight. But I need to see results (not just weight loss) mentally and physically.
I thought this was a post that I'd written. My god you sound so much like me haha. You're the exact weight as I am and I have reason to lose weight, not just because I want to look better.

I have heard and read that running can aid weight loss. Naturally, we need to adopt a healthy eating regime too. My diet is pretty good, I'm just stuck with trying to lose the weight. Exercise is bound to tone the body and help with weight loss though. Good luck lovely, I'm with you all the way x
