W4 R1, slow but steady!

I ended up doing 5 or 6 of the W3 runs because of holidays and being ill, and finally made a start on W4 this morning - I even went out in the rain for the first time! It was hard, but I kept going and kept it reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally slow and I managed it - hurrah! My legs are knackered now mind you!

Slow is the new fast :) Just take your time and really enjoy the journey.. try to land lightly and relax into each run. Every one you do makes you, and your body stronger. You will get there... well done :)

Thanks! I realised to my surprise in the first 5 minute run that I had sort of slipped into a comfortable rhythm with it and wasn't struggling too much. I do love this programme and this forum!

Very well done.. that rhythm, when it happens is amazing... and there does come the time, when it kicks in, that you feel you could run forever :)
