Hi all,

Did this one yesterday but really struggled on the last 90 second run felt like I was just shuffling and the 5 mins walk at end was not brisk at all! πŸ™Felt like giving up πŸ˜₯but gave myself a talking to and decided tomorrow is another day. I will get up early tomorrow for run 2 and hopefully will feel better about it!πŸ‘πŸ»

Just remember RUN means JOG. Its good to get into the habit of going slow and steady. You are doing 90 second bursts but you are repeating this for a total of 9 minutes running with constant walking in between, so set your mind up to pace yourself out for the whole duration.

You will find the last bit tough - every week. But you will manage to get through it - every week. And every week you will wonder how/ why you found it so hard the week before.

You are making progress - just go with it!

Just take it nice and steady and trust in the programme - you can do it! Good luckπŸ™‚

My 5 minute walk could never really be accused of being brisk! And if shuffling gets you to the end, then you shuffle away😊

Your body will gradually adapt, honestly it will. That doesn't mean it will ever be easy but week on week everything will become more 'doable'. Enjoy the next one😊😊

Don't be a quitter! Don't you dare. You've started, so you'll finish πŸ™‚

You only have to do a few jogs! Most of it is walking! You only need to go oh so very slowly. So come on, chin up and get revved up for another go πŸ™‚

Shuffling is fine! Shuffling will get you where you wanna go! Don't knock it πŸ˜ƒ Lifting the legs in a running motion is hard! We all know cos we all struggled to do it. You are fresh off the couch so why wouldn't it be!

Cut yourself some slack and be happy you made a start towards getting fitter and healthier. You can run, you really can but you just don't know it yet. We do though πŸ˜ƒ

I'm definitely not going to quit, just had a little wobble.πŸ™

I will be completing run 2 tomorrow morning no matter what! (Unless it's snowing)😁
