Well I did it! W4R1 in the bag! It was meant to be an evening run but I'm not at work till later now.

I was dreading this week but found my stride and stuck with it, I was so relieved when Jo told me I only had a minute left and was able to get through it.

I wouldn't of believed it if someone had said I could run for 5 minutes when I started this, but here I am, still going and looking forward to wednesday

Well done you. Keep taking it one run at a time. Pace yourself, keep hydrated (every day not just run days) and you will smash this.

I drive past my run twice a day on my commute and I still can't quite believe how far I actually run!!

Go for it, you'll smash it! Funnily enough I didn't find it any more difficult than W3, although when Jo told me I only had 1 minute of my final 5 I was that happy that it flew by.

Enjoy it and let me know how you get on

It shouldn't be more difficult, with each week you bank more strength and you are more prepared to run for longer. You also learn that you can do this :)

I've done it! As someone on here ( sorry, can't remember who☹️) said,, I came back 'nicely knackered'. Stunned I can run for five minutes. I really think this might work!

Nice one, well done!

I am also thinking this programme works, I think the next runs different though it's starting to switch things up to get me right out of my comfort zone (not that I've been in my comfort zone yet).

I'm really looking forward to Wednesday now, and that's something I never saw coming! I started out on this journey with the intention of losing some weight and getting my fitness levels up, so to be actually enjoying running is a massive bonus.

See you at the finish line 😊

Yes, me too. I was hoping to feel better and prove a point but didn't think pleasure was really going to be a part of it! I thought we did the same run three times in week 4 and the individual runs came next week. I may be wrong but in my exhausted state this morning I thought I heard Laura say you need to do this run three times before moving on. My Fitbit said my pace today was 8'32", that's the first time it's been under 10!! Don't know how accurate it is but it's nice to see it dropping, now that we are running more minutes than walking in the thirty🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️😀😀😀😀👏🏼👏🏼

Feels almost childish to be this proud of yourself😜

Your right, I've just double checked and we do repeat this run 3 times, I must of been drunk on endorphins when I checked 🤣.

My average pace was also slower than it's been before, hopefully that just means we're learning what we are capable of at the minute and slowing ourselves accordingly.
