I'm sorry to brag, but was dubious when I went out for my first run of week 4 - 2 x 5 min runs and 2 x 3 min runs in hot sunshine, someone is being very silly thinking I can do that. But I DID IT, I only went and did it. Shouted out loud to encourage myself when Laura told me I had 1 min left of the first 5 min, shouted out loud when I finished that bit. People on the tow path must think I'm a complete idiot. So for anyone worrying they won't make it you can - if I can you can.
W4R1 - I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!: I'm sorry to brag... - Couch to 5K
W4R1 - I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very well done kp. It's a great feeling isn't it when you complete a tough run! Good luck with the rest of w4
You're not bragging - I'd be delighted in your place too. It's such a buzz when you think you can't do it and then surprise yourself. Congratulations and roll on the next run!
That's brilliant! Believe me you have bragging rights! It's an amazing feeling after you achieve something that you never thought you could! Happy running xx
Congrats, I am due to start week 4 tonight (unless my wife decides to give this a go in which case I will do W1D1 for her to see if I can get her into it too)
You have given me some hope I can complete it as it seems a long way off
Well done! I hope the rest of the week has gone just as well for you. I'm just going to start week 4 tomorrow, so it is great to hear when others manage. It makes me stop being so negative about it. Well done again.
Well everybody, I did all 3 runs although I found run 3 strange, I had my 9 year old son with me and he did not stop babbling. I think I've worked out that I need to focus and concentrate at the moment and having a 'responsibility' with me was distracting. I did all the runs though so moving to week 5 today - just waiting for the heat to die down a bit before I embark on that one.
Good luck with all your progress.
