Hang on a minute! How come week 6 run 1 felt considerably harder than week 5 run 3?

Hah ... that happened to me too ... the next one will be easier. I think it's because we get so worked up and determined about W5R3 and that focus just isn't there for the W6 run

I think most of us felt like that, it's a real mind over matter week is week 6! 🤔

Phew! I was beginning to think the 20 mins was just a fluke!

I found the same and was told it was the starting and stopping made it harder to reach a consistent comfortable jogging pace. I tend to set off too fast when each interval started instead of slow and steady 😊

I am never going to be accused of going to fast!! Ha ha! But yeah, it may have been the stopping that upsets your psyche!

By too fast I mean trying to jog as opposed to my usual jiggly waddle 😊

I think everyone gets thrown by week 6 - actually I think it's just more the case that managing that 20 minute run at the end of week 5 makes you feel so epic that anything after that is a bit of a disappointment. Keep going you will and it does get better. No pain, no gain and all that 😉

Seems like a common experience then after that, for me, it fell into place.
