It’s been a week since I completed week 6 run 2 and run 2 was the hardest so far I think. Not sure if I was under the weather as I’ve had to take a week off from symptoms of fatigue and every muscle and joint aching.
I am determined to give run 3 a go tomorrow, even if I have to repeat as I’m still not feeling great.
I’ve read this week can be tricky so just want to get to week 7 now! Fingers crossed 😀

Good luck to you for your run 3 of week 6, once you have completed it you are officially a runner, just take the run slow and steady, the way you ran the third run of week 5, it's only 5 minutes longer. 😊 🏃
The first two runs of week 6 are problematic for lots of people do well done on getting them out of the way. The few days off won’t have dine you any harm but it’s important not to leave it too much longer or you risk getting out of the habit. You’ll probably find this run more enjoyable than the last one - because you get past the toxic 10 and keep going, instead of stopping right at that point and having to start again. Take it slow and you’ll be fine.
I did w6r3 this morning and once past that initial 5 - 10 mins I got into an ok pace and even managed a 60 second sprint at the end. I Felt so good afterwards.
I’ll try and keep up momentum now for week 7, as I want to try to graduate by the time i go on holiday at the beginning of May.
Week 7 is just the same run you’ve just done, three more times, so you know you can do it.
Last year I was in the same position, wanting to finish before going in holiday so I ran on alternate days without the two day break once a week. That was a mistake as I ended up taking a week off due to fatigue. That extra day off once a week makes a difference once you’re into the longer runs.
Having said that, it meant I did my graduation run in Florence and I might not have had the discipline to go out and find running routes in various Italian cities if I’d already finished the programme - I could have got out of the habit of running. So maybe it worked out for the best.
