Week 6 blues 😔

Just done week 6 run 1 and feeling very deflated ... all I can think about is the 25 minute run at the end of this week . The 20 minute run was exhausting and I can't imagine running any further than that . I've got such a buzz out of the last 5 weeks as well. 😢

Hang on, hang on.

W6R1 is getting you ready for W6R2

W6R2 is getting you ready for W6R3!

In case you haven't noticed this is how C25K work :) All runs are challenging but doable. You need a positive mental attitude. It doesn't matter that you struggled, that means you are gaining fitness all the time!

I don't think it should be exhausting... maybe your pace is slightly too fast for the longer runs? I did find I also needed extra rest after until my fitness built up a bit ... remember you are a very new runner still and give yourself a break :-) you can do it!

It’s only an extra 5 mins that’s nothing, you can do it, if you feel your really not ready then repeat the 20 min for an extra day. When your running just imagine everyone from the c25k club cheering you on... you can do it, keep going, not far to go x

I found the same at the start of week 6. It was tough but by Run3 it will be fabulous again. The first 2 runs prepare you for it. Go for it 😀

Just follow the plan cause as Mr Smooth said to me today... if you have completed all the runs up until now, you ARE ready for this one. Dial back the speed a bit if you find it hard. You can do this! By now a lot of it is mental xx

Just chill...pull back and slow down... nothing to prove.. you can run... take it slow and steady and you will do it :)

I have just done week 6 run 2 and I feel your pain! I’m worried about running 25 mins on Friday but we managed 20 mins so we can do it!!!!

You'll be fine... How long were you moving on W6R1?

Let me point you towards this healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It may help.

You will do this. You are getting stronger each run.
