Did parkrun, very close to not going this morning but v glad I did. Started a bit further back so had a pretty easy start and managed a bit of a sprint finish, felt OK all the way around, none of the usual "wtf am I doing am I insane? Yes I am insane but does it make me do this stuff?? Why am I talking to myself shut up now Joe!" feelings - which was a pleasant surprise. Wasn't a PB but not too fussed and only 20 seconds off. Also my leg seemed better during the run, I did a sprint up a "hill" on my way back and think I overdid it... idiot.. now my leg is sore!!! Oh well. I'm using a really nice new watch, accidentally set it on Garmin ultratrack, a kind of energy saving gps mode that measures less frequently, for hiking and v long races, as its quite a bendy course it was .5k under, so thought I was going a bit slower. So no sledgehammers today but they will come and I enjoyed it a lot more!
