didn't say before, but I tripped on my Parkrun yesterday, 50m from the end. Got up and finished of course! Thought it was just a couple of scrapes and bruises but today my right hand was like a football. A&E say nothing is broken but soundly told me off for using it when it should be rested. In a sling for a couple of days, so it will have to be a walk in the sunshine tomorrow...... just a walk, so there's always a silver lining!!!!!

Wow those gremlins have broken out the big guns! Physically harming you - how dare they! :o But you've got bigger guns, so blast those little blighters to smithereens when you're out running in a couple of days...xx

actually I blame Oldfloss ..... having been told a zillion times to go slow then slower still, I was busy chatting to another "runner" and not looking where I was putting my feet. Sorry Oldfloss, only joking!

Ouch. That sounds sore. But super pleased for you that you completed the Park Run. Make sure you give your hand time to recover properly. I'm back on the C25K again this week and have opted to go back and do the whole thing from scratch again. I'll keep you posted.....

Saw my arthritis consultant today (timing coincidence) who is concerned the fall has aggravated my arthritis. Yet more medication!! She was sympathetic, though, as her husband takes part in the my local Saturday Parkrun. She didn't tell me not to, so it looks like a brisk 5K walk round the course today/tomorrow.
