Went for a run in the fog....bit cold...but got a good sweat on....have to say i ran(jogged) 99% of this one and nearly puked at the end...got to get fitter!!!!

Well done. Feeling like you were going to puke suggests that you were close to your limit today and spent a lot of time over your lactic threshold.

It is good to test yourself this way now and again but not too frequently.

Have you been following the C25K programme.. or do you just run... as Dunder2004 says, it maybe is not a great idea to push yourself to that level too often.

Reading your other posts, you say,you are trying to lose weight too, maybe you are not hydrated or getting enough fuel in for this kind of run at this stage?

Loads of ways to get fitter, that you could do in conjunction with the runs as well.. core strengthen and stamina etc.:)

Maybe take it a tad steadier on some of your runs?:)

I go to the gym a few times a week doing core work and cardio...but i agree i probably need to have some water on hand....the run it's self is quite steady just the last bit which is a incline for about a km..its the first time i managed to jog it without breaking into a walk.....I do recover quite quickly which suggests im defo getting fitter....
