Mapped out 5k on map my run and decided to do week 9 podcast and note how far along route i got at 30 minutes.
Good plan.
But when laura said you can walk now i knew i only had about 0.75k left so thought to myself "run another couple of minute....now run to that bench.....now run past those workmen....there's the 5k marker! And got to the finish line about 30 secs before laura said that's it!
So 5k in just under 35 minutes!
(The workmen were very impressed)
High 5 for me!
Absolutely thrilled and chuffed onward and upward

Well done! And well done on ignoring the workmen, I had to change my route one day because of the builders even though I couldn't hear them, I could imagine!!
well done gypseydepp , i had to slide inmy run tonight on the treadmill , was a mission picked boy up from school and had about 50 mins to spare before getting him of to footie training i thought thats just enough time for a run and a speedy shower before hitting the road again . phew . no workemen on my route Damn!!!!
Honestly it's reading stuff like this that is keeping me inspired. That and watching the Ben Davies youtube video. If that man could run 5k and more - so will i eventually!
