Canicross Sunday

Back to a beginners' trot out with my canicross group. We were back at the place we were the other month where I fell over at least twice, and guess what?

I only fell over once this time (got tripped by another runner's dog). Unfortunately, I also got smacked in the face by a bit of holly bush that hit me right across my mouth.

I'm totally fine, if a little stiff, and I'm particularly glad the holly didn't leave scratches because explaining those would have been weird.

Glad you are out there again... even if the holly is out to get you!

Try to stay upright next time ? :) xxx

You're really not doing too well with these are you! ;)

Stay safe and maybe try not to injure yourself again?!

Well some say that you are not a real runner until you have gone arse over face and I am guessing that is doubly true of canicross.

If that's what it takes, I'm a runner several times over ☺

Oh dear ! Ha ha ! Ive been smacked lots of times by overgrown hedges , especially in the dark ! Its a bit of a shock isn't it as you cant see them , well I cant , but my eyesight isn't the best :-)

Canicross sounds lots of fun, I just cant imagine doing it with my 2 pugs as ones a dawdler and ones off like the clappers , I normally end up in the middle looking like Stretch Armstrong :-) xxx

To be honest they're not really built for it with their adorable squished up faces, though it sounds like one of yours would be game to give it a go ☺

I did shout, but it was more the shock of it, like a spider a running across the floor.
