Saturdays run on Sunday

Saturday didn’t happen for various reasons so we got up and went this morning instead, I have a hankering for running faster so we did our usual 5 minute walk, ran a gentle half k and then ran as fast as we could for as long as we could then ran easy while we got our breath back, then off again, it was amazing running as fast as we could really pushing ourselves, then jogging along slowly and breathing slower, the sun was peeking through

Have a good running week all peeping through and after yesterday’s rain was fresher, the blue and white sky a lovely backdrop for the brightness of the trees

Willow got in the car as i ran gently on to run 5.4 k in 49 minutes, it wasn’t fast but it was fun

The photo is from another day same place though

I had a very nice 🚲 bike ride today after my 10 mile 🏃🏾 run last Wednesday and a 5K (not) parkrun yesterday.

You have good strong legs Al, flipping work gets in the way for me quite often, but we still run a few times a week

I love the idea of cycling and used to go everywhere by bike but time is short so free time is for running and walking

Up to just over two years ago all I did was walk and cycle, I cut down the cycling a bit and started C25K and runs to fill the gap a bit, I now cycle shorter runs about once a week instead of the longer bike rides which I used to do 4 a week many years ago.

It’s lovely but there is a sewage plant nearby and they’ve had a problem recently the smell has sent us looking at different places to run this morning the smell had gone though

Yes, I’m sure, that’s the intention of doing those fartleks. It does work too. I quite enjoy them, but I don’t know if I could go on to another afterwards, so absolutely well done to you!! 🤩🤩🤩❤️
