I was in your shoes (so to speak!) just two months ago, but I stuck with the plan and not only survived, here I am having actually completed C25K! Well done on getting through W1! Those first few runs really are the hardest - it does get easier as the programme goes along. You're right, this forum is amazing. It's definitely what got me through the programme. Very well done to you!
