I don't post here very much but thought I would share my recent experiences.
Week 7 was an enjoyable week and the Week 8 Run 1 was a pleasant surprise and my minute/miles increased too without me feeling too exhausted. However, week 8 run 2 was horrendous. I really struggled and almost slowed to a walk so ran for 29 minutes to make up for that. Run 3 wasn't much better until about 3/4 of the way through, at 28 minutes I had ran for 2.5 miles so decided to just continue for another half a mile and surprised myself by doing it and in 34 mins 7 seconds. Which I was quite pleased with.
I know that I have jumped a little ahead but felt like I could and glad I did as I feel I can maybe start to do ParkRun.
This site has been great for keeping me motivated. Still have week 9 to do but I'm sure I will be able to push myself on.
Thanks everyone

Hi this is my first time of posting, I've just started reading posts this week and have found it helpful.
Well done that's great effort! 3 runs left!! Fantastic I've just completed W8 run1 today I was struggling a bit with a hill today but kept going it was tough and I'm sure it was harder than it was last week, maybe because it was so cold out it made a difference anyway at the end of the run I felt like I could have kept going on and on.
I feel quite excited at the prospect of graduating and would like to try park runs. Can't believe I'm saying that !
Enjoy week 9. It sounds you are definitely ready for it!
