Week 9 Run 3!

I just completed the final run! I can’t believe it!

Not quite doing 5K sub 30 yet but it was my best pace so far and I wasn’t too exhausted at the end of it.

Best moments of the programme:

1. First time I ran for 5 minutes in a row!

2. First time I ran for 20 minutes in a row!

3. First time my pace was faster than 8 min per km.

Worst moments:

1. First time I ran for 5 minutes in a row! 😂

2. Week 6 Run 1 was definitely my biggest challenge!

3. Having to redo week 8 run 1 as I didn’t manage to run for the full 28 minutes.

Thanks for the amazing support from this community. I will keep using this forum and sharing my views/comment on other people’s posts.

What’s next? I want to do 2 more weeks of 30 minutes’ running and then move onto the podcasts recorded by Laura (best trainer ever!).

Any other ideas welcome 😊

Congratulations ValeltaUk! You’re a graduate now so don’t forget to get your virtual June Graduate badge (there’ll be a pinned post somewhere) and wear it with pride!

Running for 30 mins for a couple of weeks seems a very sensible idea. After that, you could move onto Bridge to 10K if you want to, but don’t put yourself under any pressure. Just enjoy your running and the great feeling it gives you!

I agree with you regarding Laura being the best coach of C25K.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K, well done 😀 🏃🏾 🎓

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the June graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated, by all means go on to the Stepping stones podcasts with Laura then try Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan if you want to run a 10K after a few weeks of 30 minute consolidation runs, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement.

Thanks! Good luck to you on Wednesday!

Ideally I would love to be able to run for 10K at some point but for the moment I will stick to 30 minutes’ run weekly. 😊
