Just completed my final C25k run. Unbelievable that at the start, like a lot of people on here, how I struggled with 1 minute!! Now I can run for 30 minutes, not too far or too fast but I'll look to work on that now. I started mid July, had a few weeks where I didn't run due to holidays etc ., and had an attack of the wobbles around w6 but stuck with it with the support of this excellent forum and have achieved something that neither I nor some others thought I would as I never stick to anything for very long. We have suffered a bereavement this week and I've still stuck with it. Think running has helped with my ability to cope with life's ups and downs as much as anything else. I'm chuffed to bits!
So I've done it.......: Just completed my final... - Couch to 5K
So I've done it.......
Fantastic, well done Runner Hapbee99 , time to celebrate. Make sure you claim that well deserved shiny badge. Enjoy your celebrations 🎓🍾🎖🎈🎉💐👣🏃🏼♀️🎈🏃🏻😃
Ooooo that badge looks great on you,
Congratulations Hapbee99 !
That's excellent and you are so right to be chuffed to bits and proud of yourself for what you've achieved.
I'm currently on week 6 and came back down to earth with a massive 'bump' after having my confidence lifted when I successfully completed W5R3. I'm really looking forward to being in your situation myself in the not too distant future. Now keep on running!
O well done so exciting🏃🏃🌟🌟😊 i know just how you feel and like you i never thought id stick with it but here i am 2 runs to go😀😀. So you can keep us all going & now we must keep going!!! Congratulations 🏃🏃x
Congratulations! I hope you really feel proud.
I also hope that your running brings you some solace at this sad time. All good wishes.
Well Done!!! ☺
Congratulations! So sorry about your loss. I did my week 9 with graduation run in a similar situation and it certainly helped me. It might be a good idea to start planning your next runs to make sure you get your 'me time' so it can continue to help you with coping with all the things that have to be dealt with - at such a sad time it's very easy to let it slip and yet it's much needed. Well done again!
Great good on you wonderful xx
Congratulations Hapbee99 🎉🎉.Yes, more will come, just revel in your marvelousness now though.😊
Sorry to hear of your loss, its good that running has helped you to bear it. x
Very, very well done. Graduate
Running has become my own support network! When I'm not running, I am planning the next one and I run alone, it is so quiet and peaceful and I don't think about anything much at all, don't even listen to music! Running for 30 minutes x 3 times a week will really build your fitness and I found speed increased by itself - but I prefer reasonably slow running still. I did a 5k by just running for longer and after that moved up to 5k x 3 times a week for ages. Most important thing is to enjoy it, avoid injury and keep healthy! Very well done 😀
