Today was better in that there were not so many people walking dogs. I still had to get up on the bank twice. I think it was because I went before 3.15 which is when the school finishes, so there were less people about. Last time I watched the clock - I've tried the Guardian podcasts, but come back to Laura. A couple of times I was surprised by how quickly 90 secs was over. This isn't to say that I found it easy but watching the time just reminded me how much time was still to go, so I've decided just to go with the flow and stop and start when I'm told do.
My cheapy trainers are brilliant. Very light and makes me feel lighter on my feet, which for someone who has always hated walking and had stiffened up, is liberating. I've also found something to wear that is light but doesn't look too daft.
Looking forward to the third run.

Well done africanali...another run down and only 1 more to finish off week2!
I have also just back in from w2r2. Looking forward now to completing week2 on Wednesday, and yes I agree, having a nice, lightweight pair of comfortable trainers are a must.
Well done ! You have started me thinking about looking daft ! I move house in couple of weeks and will still have a lake to run round but it will be more populated , with more dog walkers etc. compared to my current lake where I hardly see a soul.
I've lost so much weight I'm known as "Mr Baggy Pants" . I'll have to buy some new gear sometime !
I suppose there is a significant difference between looking daft and feeling daft!! I may not look as daft as I think (hopefully). I think as I haven't exercised since school my perceived identity is that of a non-excerciser and that hopefully will start to change. Well done in loosing weight. Thats impressive.
