Omg I have been so naughty! Last run was last Saturday w3 r3. ....... Should have attempted w4 by now! Weekend away till Tuesday resulted in excuse after excuse through the week and it's now Sunday! I am so angry with myself!

Tommorow I am getting back out there! Wonder whether a lazy week is going to make me struggle more 😭😭😭😭😭 do I repeat week 3 and then move on, or try week 4?? Oh I'm so annoyed, my stuff was in the wash, the clothes needed put away, the kids needed this and that, the grass needed cutting, the garden needed sorting, I had a job interview, I got said job and handed my notice in at previous job.........you know just one of those frustrating weeks where running is just last on the list 😞😞😞

New job - congratulations ! That sounds like a positive from the week so sure the running will fall back into place. It depends how you feel though, if you feel OK move onto week 4, if you would feel safer repeat the final run of week 3. You can never have too many practice runs if you need them πŸ˜€ Enjoy getting back out there.

Life gets in the way for all of us, but developing the habit of regular running takes some time and requires some discipline, so stick with it and you will soon find that when you can't run you are just itching to get out there.

Congratulations on the job.

Congratulations on your new job :-) See how you feel about W4 tomorrow. If in doubt try a W3 run to see how it feels. Onwards and upwards 😁

Congratulations on your new job!! Life can sometimes take over but you have picked your day, so let get back to it ;)

You might find that excitement of new job will rub off on your running ! It's not easy with your family commitments and life stuff. At end of day it is about your own goals and take it easy and repeat runs if need be as others have said. It's all progress. The great feeling of achieving something in your running that you thought you may not achieve is great. It has definitely helped me physically and mentally. The running success will rub off on all the stuff in your life too.

Don't worry be happy :) You've had time away, you've got a sparkly new job and the programme is still there, ready when you are :) If you're worried just do one more week 3 run to get yourself back into it and then off you go again. There's no cut off point (although the gremlins would like us to think otherwise) :)

Ty for all your support! Tbh another day has dissapeared and I still haven't got out, mainly due to the monsoon weather we seem to have got today! I am going to lay out my running stuff out tonight and rain, hail or shine I am going after my coffees in the morning!
