week 3 run1 - DONE!

I started Couch to 5 k a little unconventionally and proceeded to repeat week 1 for around a month, getting to grips with my speed and breathing as i was just so unfit! breezed week 2 and then yesterday i completed Week3 run 1 - kept it slow and steady and was expecting it to be horrendous, but think it tricked me a little and one of the 3 min runs was in the middle of session, just realised and was about to start getting flustered when it was time to start walking! so impressed with myself.. i actually jogged part of my warm down walk :-) i'm not bothered how long it takes me to graduate, i'm learning to love running - something i never thought i would.. plus i'm loving my expanding running wardrobe!! ;-)

Well done. You've started out the right way by repeating weeks if you feel the need but don't be too afraid to move onto the next week if you complete all 3 runs. It's a frightening programme when you look at it but it does truly work. You can easily be put off by the increase in running time but you can do it just take it easy. All the best for your next run.

Welcome & well done for starting the programme. It's amazing how addictive running can be, I'm certainly surprised & am only at the end of W4! This forum is fantastic, everyone is very supportive & willing to give advice. Happy running :-)

Sounds like you have really enjoyed your journey thus far, slow and steady sounds like a recipe that is working - well done🎈✨🎈✨🎈✨

Great that you overcame the flusters that creep up - yea!

As to the running wardrobe........... Isn't it fun! And why not! 😊

Now that is a strapline that is so fitting for c25k... "Learning to love running". That is what we're all doing. You just keep on learning to love running and you'll be absolutely fine. The running wardrobe is one of the extra benefits ;) Good luck with your next runs...
