I feel like a warrier…..Week 3 is history - bring on Week4!!!
I've found that I'm always on a 'runner's high' AFTER I finish a run - never mind the physical and mental gremlins that scream out loud BEFORE and DURING my runs.
So, I stuck to my usual route except I flipped it which worked well as the upward slope became a downward slope - by doing a left-to-right loop instead of the other way round....yaayy!!!
I increased my speed a tiny little bit at the back of my last experience - which definitely got my heart rate pumping; but not to a point where I was gasping for breath....so, although I'm a bit more achy than the last 2 runs; I feel great for pushing myself just a little bit more within reasonable limits to still keep a steady pace and making it all the way.
It's addictive....and I love the happy endorphins.....(god knows I need them!!!)
So - all in all, a fabulous Week 3 with a bit of a blip in the middle - but definitely done and dusted!!! Week 4 - here I come!!! (Gulp....lol!!!)
