W8R1 began bright and early as I left the house at 4.50 am to start the first of this weeks 28 minute runs a nice brisk walk and then straight into the run bit too quick dropped down a gear.As I had started Mapmyrun as I left I soon had a voice pipe up 1km done time 7mins sounded good but had only really run for 2 mins but hey ho lets go, off round the corner over the bridge and we're heading up the slight incline towards the first village pub small increase in speed but still a way to go passed the village hall round the corner for the down leg of the first lap Laura says doing really well keep a steady pace carried on turned into my road passed my house something wrong here last time I ran 3k was outside my house keep going Mapmyrun pipes up 3k done I am 200m further on than I thought oh well keep going backup the incline for the last 20 minutes through the alley right turn another right and we are heading home 27 minutes done Laura' s asked if I want to finish with a flourish and we are off minute done and now time to cool down for 5 minutes and stop.Quick check of Mapmyrun and nearly had to sit down there as the distance covered was 5.73 Km. I clearly need to crank back the enthusiasm but to be honest it felt good this morning however that could be the two days rest I had.

Makes me sound like some kind of nut job I do have my moments but I am far from that

Another one bites the dust - in the bag and with style too! That shuffle seems to have turned into a twinkle toes. 👟👟👟👟👟👟👟👟 Go you, I might be a bit behind., but I'll be there, probably with Julie!

I am not going to distance watch for the next two runs I am just going to go out and enjoy it. I think the more relaxed you are you get locked in the zone and it just happens
