Been a tough week, funeral and start of new contract so I haven't run in 7 days....Gremlins told me to re-do W4 R3 as I have had a break but I resisted and went straight into W5 R1.
Met my first runners along the way today - must be a Sunday morning thing - and felt great giving them a little nod as we passed each other ๐ -
Had to clip the dog onto a lead a couple of times as horses approached - very depressing but hilarious to look down and see him walking slowly beside me as I was puffing away doing my best "running" beside him ๐๐
Still finding it tough - but as many people have said on this forum - if it was easy we would all be doing it AND I LOVE the feeling at the end and somehow Laura says the right things when you need them
There is only one run between me and the dreaded W5 R3 - scary ๐ฎ

Wow, you've got those gremlins beaten into submission! Well done. I love that you run with your dog. I did try that once but I have two and ended up running in circles waving poo bags and had to stop! On to wk5 r2 now then. Have a great one
Super effort - straight back in there - done and dusted! ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ I have enough trouble getting me out there so, packing the pooch too gets extra respect from me. ๐๐ผ On to run two - off goes you.........
Lovely name for a dog. My boy is good off lead and actually ignores horses but I don't like to take chances. He stays close and looks out for me which I find reassuring but I know what you mean about focussing
Well done! I know what you mean about the dog walking gently - even our cat-sized terrier doesn't have to do more than trot sedately next to me - it's just so disheartening! On the other hand, the time I came home all excited because I'd made Troublesome Pup actually run lives on in my memory...!
