Congratulations on your graduation. Please leave your username here for me or OlsBean so we can organise your well deserved graduation badge. we will try not to leave you waiting too long as we know how great they feel when they arrive.
I would like to clarify the position of earning your graduation badge. To get your badge you will of completed the full training podcasts and be able to run for 30 min. It does NOT matter if you can not run 5km, you are a graduate after running 30 min for three times.
So it is fair to everybody please do not ask for your badge until you have completed week 9 run 3.

Completed on 2nd May. Took me more than 12 weeks but that didn't matter. I am just so happy I've done it!! My friend ran alongside me half the world away in Singapore and we helped each other along. I'm actually crying typing this.
I changed my user name about a month ago. I had completed the Couch to 5K and received my Graduation Badge. Will this be automatically transferred over from my old user name or do I have to re-apply?
I have just completed my final run of week 9 on this beautiful day! I can't believe me, who could not run at the start of the year can now run for 30 minuets and will be completing my first 5K in July! I would love to have a badge to remind me how far I have come! Thank you
I completed my first 5K yesterday after completing the program... it would have been my 3rd 30 minute run.. however I had to stop a few times to walk as I ran much harder outside than I have on my treadmill training runs.. Does this still qualify me as a graduate? Or should I do one more run at 30 minutes without stopping?
I would say if you had done it on your treadmill you would of done the 30 min nonstop so in this case I would say you have graduated. Congratulations and well done.
Hi, Diddy 1967 here. Have completed the programme and even ran for 37 minutes today. Still can't quite make 5km but will get there. Thank you for giving me the motivation to succeed.
lesley1663 had graduated, never thought I would in a million yeasr be able to run. Glad I did, running Race for Life in July in memory of my dad so back to the training today.
Ran through the cool down walk, ran through the warm up walk again, ran through the whole 30 minute run again - ended up doing 72 minutes and 9.1k.
Got home, stuck on my graduation mortar board hat and have now come to this thread to request my badge. You're probably asleep at this time of night and I'm just about to take a well earned rest too but I will smile when I see it gleaming by my name tomorrow.
Congratulations and well done. I know many have mentioined your increases on your graduation post, I would not be doing my job right if I didn't urge you to think about it. From 5-10km safely takes about 8_10 weeks. To protect joints muscles but i totally understand that "wow I can do this" feeling that takes us further on some days. 😊
Yep, it was the elation of ending the course and feeling like I had more left in me. As I've said, knowing that I can do more than 30 minutes with some ease will keep me motivated to do the 30 minute runs three times a week from now on. I've had no problems whatsoever with running so far. I'll be more than happy to take things back to the 30 minute level... but on a good day, downhill, with the wind behind me, I may go a little further and I may train properly for a 10k run... but I'm happy with 5k/30 minutes.
Can you still get a graduation badge if you have done the programme through a group rather than the podcasts. I have followed the couch to 5K over 12 weeks with a beginners running group and have run 3 times after this finished for at least 30 minutes and including a park run..
Hello! I am somewhat surprised to confirm that I completed my graduation run (W9D3) on Saturday! What a fantastic programme! Thank you to all involved.
I finished the app in March but have only just ventured off the treadmill and into the outside world of running! I feel like a real runner now, could I have my badge please? Thank you
Hi - Only just discovered this forum. I completed w9r3 on May 18 and did my first parkrun on May 21. Now hoping to do another parkrun on 4 June and actually get round without stopping!
I graduated for the second time on 28th April 2016 and have just run the week 9 run 3 again today after a long break while on holiday. May i have a badge please?
