Congratulations on your graduation. Please leave your username here for me or OlsBean so we can organise your well deserved graduation badge. we will try not to leave you waiting too long as we know how great they feel when they arrive.
I would like to clarify the position of earning your graduation badge. To get your badge you will of completed the full training podcasts and be able to run for 30 min. It does NOT matter if you can not run 5km, you are a graduate after running 30 min for three times.
So it is fair to everybody please do not ask for your badge until you have completed week 9 run 3.

I graduated last week but didn't get around to asking for a badge. It is my second time through the C25K programme, as I did it a couple of years ago but then stopped running. I hope to keep up the running this time and do a parkrun soon.
This morning I became a graduate. A wonderful W9R3 done, not quite at the magic 5k yet, but close, and a tad longer than 9 weeks to get there, but very proud of my little self! I'd really, really love a badge please! Many thanks, Nat (Username: Running-scared)
Okay, what am I missing here? I haven't technically taken up jogging yet. But will be having a second attempt at the couch to 5k soon. It may take me a whole year to run for 30 minutes without stopping (no matter how slow I go!!). But I kind of like the motivation of aiming towards a badge!! Can I join in? Or is it for people a lot further on than me?
Of course you can join in. We are a free supportive community that uses the NHS C25K podcast and app to reach our running (whatever your speed) goal of 30mins or 5km. It is a 9 week program but a few of us on here took a bit longer.
Feel free to post in the post section or just read other people post. It's all about the fact we are going through or have been on the same journey so we understand that not every trip out goes to plan, or we share your joy in a good run out. Then however long it takes you come back to me and request your virtual little grey badge to say you are a C25k graduate that then sits by your name when you post.
Thanks for that. I have seen that, but made an assumption that C25k was referring to a bigger distance, than my little 5k goal. Will give it a go, when the next couch to 5k starts (21st March).
I completed my week 9 run 3 with my first ever park run at Skipton last Saturday. In hindsight possibly slightly optimistic as the Skipton park run must be the hilliest run in the world! However I did it ( naivety carries you a long way😱) in 33.55. I'm ignoring the number of runners who lapped me and just concentrating on my small achievement. Question is can I do it again?
2nd time of trying the program ... This time I got to the end! Feeling chuffed! Any advice on how to keep this up and improve - would like to increase speed for the 30 mins as at current speeds 5k would take me just over 40mins and would love to be able to do 5k in 30mins!
Congratulations and well done. Here is the link to the NHS choices webpage that has the speed and stamina podcasts. They are also on iTunes podcast library as well
Yes, I have completed the 3 x 30 minute runs at long last. Nowhere near 5k but that was not the point was it ... Looking forward to my graduation badge!
What a 9 weeks. I was puffing and panting trying to run 2 minutes in the early weeks, dreaded the thought of trying to run for 10 minutes and here I am today having just run 5K in 00:30:14 on W9R3.
Thanks to everyone on the forum .....your help and support got me to where I am today....I still don't feel like a runner......more of a long legged jogger but they get me to 5k in 30mins so they can't be too bad.
Hello, I completed wk9r3 this evening (woop, woop)! Just want to say a great big thank you to the administrators for the hard work you put in and helping people like me to achieve my goals.
Hi, I graduated at Christmas but not great with technology and to my shame could not find out how to let you know it had, still running all be it slowly, three times most weeks, not done a park run yet, but I do keep thinking about doing one.
I have never done any running before and am pleased and amazed that I have managed to complete this program.
My username is hobocat1950 I did my 9w 3r in style in Tenerife a month ago but did not know how to upgrade until some lovely people on here gave me the heads up
Hello. I followed a slightly different programme (c2 10k) so got to my continuous 30mins of running by the end of week 8). I didn't claim the badge then because I'd not done the full weeks, but I've since done another week of runs (2x 6k and 1x 7k) so I wonder if that now qualifies me?
I did it!! Run 3 of week 9 - I still can't believe that I can run for 30 minutes. Completed the 5k in 35 minutes so well pleased with that. Thank you to everyone in the community, the support has been wonderful and I don't think I would have continued without everyone's encouragement. Looking forward to receiving my badge - thank you.
Please can I have my graduate badge, I completed c25k and can run for 30 minutes which I have now done 4 times but I was also brave and did a park run on Saturday and so managed 5k in 43 minutes and 38 seconds. This site has been such a help on my journey.
