Hope you are all okay! Tonights run was filled with sadness. I dedicated it to my best friends Dad who passed away this morning. It's been a horrid day of upset and helplessness, not knowing how to make it better is hard. Anyway I went to see her tonight and did my run after. I felt I was doing it for him...not sure why but I wanted to celebrate a wonderful man. Hope that makes sense.
So I forgot to set my runkeeper until 10 minutes in so might have cracked 5k not sure, if anyone can do Maths then please let me know what the figures say. Tonight was comfortable, slow and I felt great. I really wish I'd set RK as I think it wouldn't have been as far but it felt so different tonight. I think my fitness has gone up a gear tonight.
One more to go......................................
How are you doing Saul?

Well done Elsie, sorry to hear the sad news about your friends Dad. Sounds like you did a wonderful tribute run for him. And you're nearly a graduate too - now that's fabulous - go you! X
Sorry to hear about your friends dad. Fitting way to pay tribute to him.
So if I have done my maths correctly your total distance would have been approx. 4.97km. If I haven't, then I ain't go a clue....lol. That's it one more to go and next week it will be us giving encouragement and advise.!
Well done Elsie. I did a run like that the day my aunty died last yr on the seafront and although it was dark I saw a little robin hopping along the side of the path, he's there most times I go along and i always think it's a reminder of her when he turns up!
Sure your friends dad would be very impressed with your efforts. Well done for getting out after such a day and running such a good run! Graduation ahead!! 😊
