Well tonight I finally completed W9R9!!! I even managed an extra 8 mins at the end ๐. Feeling super proud and still in shock as I never would have imagined this would be possible at the beginning. Added bonus too.....lost over 1 and a half stone! I have been eating healthy too and coupled with my Fitbit I have more motivated than ever!!! Looking forward to the Spring/Sumner runs already. Thanks to all of you on here for your support, encouragement and advice too. Xx
I Did it!!!!!!: Well tonight I finally completed... - Couch to 5K
I Did it!!!!!!
Wow! So many achievements, you must feel very satisfied with your hard work. Did you keep running to do 5k? ๐ฎ
Congratulations, what an inspiration. I have only completed the W1R2 so far. You must be chuffed at losing 1.5 stone!!!!! Well done.
Fab! You must be thrilled. Congrats on the weight loss too , that's brilliant. You know what they say: 'summer bodies are earned in the winter'.. Very true. Happy running xx
Thats a fantastic achievement. Well done you. Brilliant โบ
That's brilliant. It's a brilliant achievement and like you I still haven't run in decent weather. Roll on those Spring/summer runs.
Congratulations - I hope you feel really proud!
Congratulations. You'll be doing 10K by Spring/Summer the way you are going.
Congratulations lina Lou. That sounds like a fantastic victory run. I expect you whooped at the end. Doing the longer runs now does seem to shift the weight too. and feeling fitter it's a win win situation. Well done. You don't seem to have your graduation badge yet. There is one waiting for you.
Go on to healthunlocked/ couch 25k site on a tablet or pc. Can't seem to find it on my phone. On the right hand side of the page is pinned posts. Click on graduation badge January 2016 and add your post.
Many Congratulations to you Lina on a fantastic achievement !
Take a bow Missus ! xxx
So well done - you are where I am going to. I start wk2r1 tomorrow after work and I hope it is as enjoyable and motivating as week 1. You are an inspiration and thank you for mentioning your weight loss - it really helps motivate me as I need to lose about 2.5 stone. How did you beat the desire to eat more in the early weeks? especially in cold weather ?
Hi, firstly well done on completing your first week, I found it one of the hardest!! Secondly, I always made sure that I had had enough to drink during the day, mainly water before my meal and during and obviously making healthier choices. Also, the thought of trying to carry the extra weight around whilst working towards my ultimate goal of completing the c25k spurred me on immensely, especially as the runs got longer.
It is amazing how far you can come and what your body can achieve with a little motivation and encouragement. I've always needed a goal to work to...it also brings out a little healthy competition as I love the results and sharing them with my nearest and dearest ๐!
Good luck on your next runs, I look forward to reading about them ๐
Hi, just did my Wk2R1 tonight after Emmerdale (one hour long episode nearly didn't go.....) but I did! definitely felt the extra 30 seconds on the first jog - but it got easier as I went along. Felt just brilliant after despite the freezing conditions. Great to hear from you and keep it up.
